“Minnesota Made”: Desperately seeking Minnesota marvels!
July 6, 2008 by videonpros
“Minnesota Made”: We are seeking to videotape, for FREE, stories about Minnesota people creating ’home grown and locally made marvels’! This first will center on ‘favorite family recipes and stories’!
First, here’s the background on how this ‘shout out’ innocently began…

Simply said
Fourth of July 2008, came and went without fanfare…except for one incident. Sharing lakeside banter, burgers, and beer with best buddies, I overheard in the distance voices of women claiming, ’they are mine’! As i zeroed in on the crowd, I realized that the fuss was over Bev Flaherty’s stash of ‘beloved bars’. The question being posed by the watchdogs, was… “would Bev disclose the recipe to keep the peace”? I witnessed Bev’s hesitant and humbled response, ”are they really that good?” With an unwavering ‘yes’! each one of us proceeded to memorialize our family favorites with the enthusiasm of children. This discourse led me to give a shout out: “SHARE YOUR BELOVED RECIPES WITH ME!”
And so the story goes….

Please…Write in and share with us your family’s favorite recipe; it’s origin; the author; what culture is represented; what town you live in; the story, etal. If your cooking story is selected, we will come a knocking on your door to videotape the culinary experience and air your piece!
In return for your generousity, you will receive a DVD of the experience and continue to add to your family history library!
